Hazlegrove is an outstanding coeducational full boarding and day school for children aged 2-13. It celebrates childhood by allowing children to be themselves. With a vibrant and creative curriculum, exceptional pastoral care, and a stunning rural Somerset location, Hazlegrove nurtures, motivates, and inspires children, encouraging a lifelong love of learning.
At Hazlegrove, we focus on the 3 Cs: curiosity, creativity, and confidence.
Our sense of community is paramount. With our unique location and numerous residential staff, we foster a village-like atmosphere. We encourage our pupils to embrace and live by our core values: kindness, respect, integrity, grace, generosity, and courage.
People are the heart of Hazlegrove! While many independent schools boast excellent facilities and beautiful buildings, Hazlegrove stands out. Nestled in 200 acres of stunning Somerset parkland, our school offers exceptional facilities and opportunities for children.
What truly sets us apart is that these facilities are enjoyed by at least 60 boarders every weekend, out of our 100+ boarders, along with 30 flexi boarders who stay each week.
The popularity of our boarding programme and the enthusiasm of our pupils are a testament to the calibre and dedication of our staff, who deliver outstanding education and care.
